How can you subscribe to INMYVAULT™?
Just select your requirement i.e. single or joint account and complete the online registration providing all mandatory details. Your application and payment via Worldpay will immediately be verified and a return email will be sent to you on the email address provided with a link to activate your account with your password selected.
You will be able to generate your own unique 4digit vault code to unlock your INNER THOUGHTS section. Keep this code safe and never tell anyone your unique pin number. You will have the facility to change your password and PIN at any time.
How much does it cost to subscribe?
From just £1 a week for a standard single account. The fee will be taken monthly or annually automatically from the payment details and options you originally entered.
The subscription fee will provide you with unlimited storage space for safe uploading of all your personal data. IMV may occasionally alert you via email to other special upgrade facility opportunities. Charges for such will be notified at the time of the announcement.
How do I know the information I store will be safe?

Can anyone open an INMYVAULT™ account?
In accordance with our Social Responsibility and Terms, anyone over the age of 16yrs old can open an
INMYVAULT™account. However, we realise that some teenagers my wish to participate in this unique service and record details too, so providing the Principle Account Holder gives parental consent and guidance, younger members of the family can also enjoy the facilities.
What are the benefits of INMYVAULT™?
IMV provides you with the unique facility to securely store specific data that will, over time build your life legacy. Not only will you have a record of all your personal data, photos, videos etc in one place but you will also gain comfort in the fact that your dependants will know the real YOU and your life story well into the future. The INNER THOUGHT section, accessed only by your own unique PIN number, allows you to detail all your secret personal thoughts, photos, journals and history, safe in the knowledge that no one can view or access this data until after your death.
I am over 60yrs. How does INMYVAULT™ benefit me now?
Think of all the memories you have stored in your head. Have you ever really considered that you may not have ever told your dependants about certain details of your life — funny situations, your youth and how things were in the past? If you don’t tell your dependants they may never know your family history in full which as research indicates, may contribute to the vast numbers of people now tracing their ancestry and family history. You may not remember specific dates from years gone by but at the very least they will be left with interesting stories of great emotional and sentimental value.
I am under 16yrs. How can I use this service?
Providing you gain parental agreement and the principal holder is over 16yrs, you can use INMYVAULT™. From newborn to 12yrs we recommend that parents/guardians record all the joyous events and memories of a child’s early years so that eventually they can duplicate and continue their own independent INMYVAULT™ account for the duration of their life.
Does a Joint Account allow access to all areas by both applicants?
No. Each joint account holder will be issued with their own username, password and unique PIN. This means the system will recognise the individuals and the information loaded independently. Stored information in the VAULT can be viewed by both parties but neither party will ever be able to access or view data filed in the INNER THOUGHTS section.
How do I log my data?
Aside of the MY PROFILE section, the site is based around a series of files, much like most computer systems and very user friendly. The MY DIARY section opens on today’s date but allows you to navigate right back to your birth date and well into your future. Write your entry on the diary by creating and naming a document and then close the section. The information is now locked away. You will also have the facility to create, upload and store other documents, photos and videos. All data can be assigned to a specific date if required. When a document, photo or video is associated with a date the relevant file type icon will be graphically displayed on that assigned date, which when clicked will open up the relevant attachment for viewing.
There are prompts to assist you through all the facilities and our SUPPORT team are here to help you with any difficulties. And finally, don’t worry if you make a mistake or have concerns later that you want to remove any entered details — INMYVAULT™ is your own VAULT, where you can edit, amend or delete any information as only you see fit.
Can I share my data with other family members or friends if I wish?
Yes you can. The service offers the facility to categorise the data and allows you to nominate guest accounts so friends and family can also enjoy and share some of your experiences. Within the MY SHARE section, by creating a nominated guest they will only be able to access files you determine you want them to view. There are safe guard prompts to ensure that files are not shared by accident and you have complete control to remove a guest and deny further access to a particular file at any time.
What happens if I move, change my name, get married, divorced etc?
The system will allow you to regularly update your details so they are always current. If you were previously unmarried and now wish to continue the account under your married name, you will have the opportunity to add your husband/ wife details to the system by upgrading to a joint account. He/she will be allocated an additional username, password and unique PIN code for the same VAULT but will not be able to access your personal data. This method ensures that you both can input personal data as well as shared information and protects any previous history being exposed should you not want it to be.
In the unfortunate event of a separation or divorce, I.M.V’s unique system offers the facility to duplicate all relevant shared data from the account, isolate the holder’s personal data and transfer such information stored into a new account so that their legacy records can continue in the normal manner.
How will I be able to ascertain if someone else has logged into my VAULT?
Each time you log in, your name will appear at the top of the page to welcome you. The MY PROFILE section will also display a record of the last time you logged into your account. You have a responsibility to keep all your vault access codes and passwords safe but if you feel that your account has been compromised in any way, please notify our SUPPORT department immediately.
I have forgotten my password or PIN
Please press “forgotten password” prompt on the homepage. An automated email will be sent to your registered email address with a link to reactivate your site. You will need to reset a new password or PIN to protect your VAULT again.
When I pass, how why will my beneficiary access and gain my INMYVAULT™ records?
In EXECUTOR section of your vault, you will have the option to nominate your desired executor. You will need to supply their name, address, and email contact details. Many people prefer to appoint their firm of solicitors who originally created their Will but a trusted friend can be chosen. The section provides advice for you.
The details of your INMYVAULT™ account should be included in your Will and your selected executor, provided sufficient official evidence has been submitted, will be passed your account details as part of your estate. If you don’t already have a Will or feel you need to speak to someone for advice, the website offers recommended solutions.
We appreciate the decision to appoint an executor is sensitive but nevertheless important and therefore these details can be entered or changed in your VAULT at any time. Please remember, once you have appointed or changed your executor, that you should inform them of your membership to INMYVAULT™ and provide our contact details but NEVER inform them of your unique vault code or passwords.
How will INMYVAULT™ know I have died?
As part of the on-going customer service, we aim to provide the highest standards. In the event of any account remaining dormant for more than six months, we will initially establish contact with you via email. If we do not receive any response within 10 working days, we will then write to you at the address you provided. You will have 30days to respond to our final verification before we will contact your appointed executor.
Can I buy an INMYVAULT™ account as a gift?
Yes. Purchasing a year’s subscription to start an account as a gift can be done at the click of the mouse on the REGISTRATION or GIFT section. The recipient will know that the gift is from you and will be sent a temporary account holding name. He/She can then change the account name, passwords, PIN etc. as appropriate. You must ensure that the recipient is 16yrs or older. Therefore if you are thinking of buying an account for as a birth gift for a newborn child, or child under the age of 16yrs, then please ensure you register their parents/guardians as the account recipient.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, provided you cancel in accordance with our cancellation policy laid out in the TERMS of your agreement. Furthermore, for a small administrational charge inclusive of delivery, INMYVAULT™ can provide a copy of your records, forwarded by registered post. All data related to the account will be automatically deleted from our secure storage system upon account termination.
